Educational Qualification for Air Force BAFA Officer Cadet 2026
Candidates who have passed Secondary (SSC) and Higher Secondary (HSC) Certificate or equivalent can apply for the 93rd BAFA Course. O/A Level students can also apply. Bangladesh Air Force recruits Officer Cadets in the following branches, with requirements listed by branch below:
- GD(P): Minimum GPA 4.50 in Science in both SSC & HSC (or equivalent) exams, with at least letter grade ‘A’ in Physics and Mathematics.
- Engineering: Minimum GPA 4.50 (excluding 4th subject) in Science in both SSC & HSC (or equivalent) exams, with at least letter grade ‘A’ in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- Finance: Minimum GPA 4.50 in Science in both SSC & HSC (or equivalent) exams, with at least letter grade ‘A’ in Physics and Mathematics.
- Logistics / ATC / ADWC / Meteorological: Minimum GPA 4.50 in Science in both SSC & HSC (or equivalent) exams, with at least letter grade ‘A’ in Physics and Mathematics (Note: Appointment issued after 01 year of training).
- Admin: Minimum GPA 4.50 from any discipline/stream in both SSC & HSC exams.
Application Rules for Bangladesh Air Force 93rd BAFA Course:
- Visit the official website: www.joinairforce.baf.mil.bd
- Click on ‘Apply Now’ and follow the subsequent instructions.
- Register and pay the fee of BDT 1,000/- to receive your User ID and Password on your contact number.
- Go to the ‘Login’ option using the received User ID and Password to fill out and print the online application form.
- On the designated date of the preliminary written examination, submit the application form along with 12 copies of recent lab-printed passport-size attested photographs (male candidates must wear a collared shirt), attested photocopies of educational qualification certificates, and other documents at the Air Force Information & Selection Centre.
Alternatively, Application via Offline Form:
- A Bank Draft or Pay Order must be issued in favor of “Central Non-Public, BAF”.
- Application forms can then be collected between 08:00 AM and 02:00 PM.
Air Force DE Course 2026 B Officer Cadet Recruitment
On January 27, a recruitment circular was published to join the Bangladesh Air Force as an Officer Cadet in the DE Course. Candidates who have passed SSC/HSC in Science and completed B.Sc (Honors) in Science can apply.
Upon completion of the short-term DE 2026B Engineering Course, candidates will have the opportunity to become a Flying Officer, and through the Special Short Service Commission, they can become a Flight Lieutenant.
