Air Force Civilian Application Rules and Terms

1. Age Limit

The candidate’s age must be between 18 and 32 years as of 01 August 2026.

2. Permission for Government/Autonomous Candidates

Candidates working in government, semi-government, and autonomous organizations must obtain prior permission from appropriate authorities and submit the NOC/permission letter during the viva voce (interview).

3. Documents Required During Viva Voce

Candidates must submit the following documents during the viva voce (oral exam):

  • A. Original copies of all educational qualification and experience certificates;

  • B. Filled online application form and admit card along with 01 (one) set of photocopies of all certificates attested by a 1st Class Gazetted Officer and 03 (three) copies of recent attested passport-size colored photographs;

  • C. Citizenship certificate issued by Union Parishad Chairman/Ward Councilor/Paureshava Chairman/Mayor/City Corporation Mayor/Administrator/Upazila Nirbahi Officer as proof of permanent residency;

  • D. Certificates issued by the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs and other related documents if the applicant is a child of Freedom Fighters, Shahid Freedom Fighters, or Birangona;

  • E. Certificate issued by the concerned Deputy Commissioner if the applicant belongs to an ethnic minority community;

  • F. Certificate issued by the appropriate official of the Department of Social Services if the applicant is physically disabled or belongs to the third gender;

  • G. Original copy of No Objection Certificate (NOC) / clearance letter issued by the appointing authority for currently employed candidates;

  • H. 01 (one) set of photocopies of National ID attested by a Gazetted Officer for Night Guard post applicants.

4. Quota Rules Compliance

Existing government rules regarding quota system and subsequent amendments (if any) will be strictly followed during recruitment.

5. Change in Number of Vacancies

The authority reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of posts and amend/cancel the recruitment notification.

6. No Guarantee of Appointment

Publication of this circular does not bind the authority to issue appointments, and the circular may be canceled without assigning any reason.

7. Concealment of Information

If any candidate conceals information and it is subsequently detected, legal action will be taken and the application will be directly canceled; no valid claims or benefits will be entertained later by revealing concealed educational qualifications.

8. Exam Stages and Eligibility

Candidates passing the written and practical examinations (where applicable) for all posts will be considered eligible for the viva voce.

9. Online Application Rules

  • A. Interested candidates can fill up the application form through the portal https://joinairforce-civ.baf.mil.bd. Application schedule:

    • (1) Online application start date and time: 02 August 2026 from 09:00 AM.

    • (2) Online application deadline date and time: 22 August 2026 until 05:00 PM.

    • (3) After applying, log in using the Application ID and Password to download and take a color printout of the Application Form and Admit Card.

    • (4) Fill in all details carefully and accurately. No changes will be accepted later.

    • (5) You can use the “Preview The Application” option to review your details before final submission.

  • B. Fee Payment:

    • BDT 100/- for post no. 1, BDT 150/- for post nos. 2 to 25, and BDT 50/- for post nos. 26 to 46 must be deposited online.

  • C. Photo dimension must be 300 × 300 Pixels (max 100KB) and signature dimension 300 × 80 Pixels (max 60KB).

  • D. Exam roll, date, time, and center name can be checked and Admit Card downloaded using the Application ID and Password received via SMS.

  • E. Admit Card must be preserved for all upcoming selection exams.

  • F. If Application ID or Password is forgotten, it can be recovered via Reset Password or by emailing helpdesk_civ@baf.mil.bd.

  • G. Departmental candidates must select “Yes” and ensure the correct home district is selected.

12. Change of Exam Date & Venue

Written, practical, and viva examinations will be held at schedules fixed by the authority. The authority reserves the right to alter exam schedules or venues if deemed necessary.

No TA/DA will be provided for attending the written/practical/viva examinations.

14. Decision of the Authority

The decision of the appointing authority regarding recruitment matters will be final.
