The B.Ed examination schedule for Term 261 was published in 2026. The written examinations will begin on September 25, 2026, and continue until October 8, 2026. Examinations for both the 1st and 2nd semesters will be held each day. The 1st Semester examinations will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while the 2nd Semester examinations will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Viva Examination
- 1st Semester (2026 batch and irregular students): The viva examination will be held from October 9 to October 10, 2026 (Friday and Saturday), from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- 2nd Semester (2025 batch and irregular students): The viva examination will be held from October 23 to October 24, 2026 (Friday and Saturday), from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Practical Examination
- Information and Communication Technology in Education (EDBN 1403) – 1st Semester: The practical examination will be held on October 30, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Basic Computer Skills (EDBN 2318) – 2nd Semester: The practical examination will be held on October 31, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM.
Special Instructions
- Note 1: This will be the final examination opportunity for students of the 2018 batch. Students from the DeNovo-registered 2017 batch will have their first opportunity to participate in the B.Ed Examination 2026, while students from the 2016 batch will have their final opportunity.
- Note 2: Reports for Educational Research (EDBN 2403) and Action Research (EDBN 2317) must be submitted on the respective examination dates.

Note 3: At the BOU Model Study Centre in Gazipur, the practical examinations for Information and Communication Technology in Education (EDBN 1403) for the 1st Semester (Academic Year 2026, Batch 2025) and Basic Computer Skills (EDBN 2318) for the 2nd Semester (irregular students) will be held on October 27, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
The 1st Semester viva examination for the Academic Year 2026, Batch 2025, will also be held on October 27, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM. The 2nd Semester viva examination for the Academic Year 2025, Batch 2024, will be held on October 27, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
