LGD Job Circular 2025 – Application Guidelines, Age Limit & Exam Process

Age Limit for Applicants

According to the Local Government Division Job Circular 2025:

• General candidates must be 18–32 years of age on 01 September 2025.

• Age will be calculated based on the SSC certificate.

• Affidavit will not be accepted as proof of age.

• For departmental candidates applying for posts listed under serial numbers 02 and 03, the maximum age limit is 40 years.

• Employees appointed under the Bangladesh Secretariat (Non-Cadre Gazetted Officers and Non-Gazetted Employees) Recruitment Rules, 2014 (amended 2020) will be considered as departmental candidates.

Application for Candidates Currently Employed

• Government, semi-government, and autonomous organization employees must apply with prior approval from the appropriate authority.

• Departmental candidates must tick the “Departmental Candidate” option in the application form.

• At the viva-voce stage, all relevant candidates must submit an original No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the employer. Advance copies will not be accepted.

Online Application Procedure

1. Applicants must upload a color photo (300×300 pixels, max 100 KB) and signature (80×300 pixels, max 60 KB).

2. All information must be filled in accurately, as it will be used in further recruitment processes.

3. After submission, applicants should download and print the Applicant’s Copy (with photo, signature, and User ID).

4. The printed copy must be preserved and submitted during the viva-voce.

• After submitting the online application, candidates will receive a User ID.

• Payment must be made through Teletalk Prepaid Mobile within 72 hours of form submission.

10. Freedom Fighter/ Martyr Freedom Fighter/ Birangana related documents (Gazette, Red Muktibarta, or valid certificate from competent authority).
