On 09 November 2015, the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh changed the name of Bangladesh Sugarcane Research Institute to Bangladesh Sugarcrop Research Institute (BSRI). At present, the institute is continuing research, technology and innovation of sweet national crops including sugarcane, palm, date, golpata, sugar beet, stevia etc.

1. The age of the applicant should be between 18 to 32 years on 08/01/2026 However, the age limit will be relaxed for such departmental candidates who are employed in the BSRI Revenue Department.

2. Only eligible and flawless applicants will be called for written test. Candidates who pass the written test will be called for the oral test later. No TADA will be given for appearing in written and oral examinations.

3. If any information provided by the candidate or the submitted documents are proved to be fake, false, forged or incorrect or forged or misused in the examination, the candidature of the concerned candidate will be canceled and appropriate legal action will be taken against him. Original copies of all certificates must be displayed during the oral examination and photocopies of all certificates attested by the Gazetted Officer (including name) must be submitted.

4.  The latest policy of the government regarding quotas will be followed in recruitment.

5. Certificate issued by the concerned Union Parishad / Municipality / City Corporation should be submitted as proof of permanent resident of the district.

6. Any kind of lobbying or recommendation will be considered as disqualification of the candidate

7. The authority may amend / cancel the recruitment notice without giving any reason.
